Atlantys (in ancient Greek, the “island of Atlas”) refers to the fictional island mentioned in Plato’s works and suggests a quest towards unexplored territories. This is our vision of private equity with the aim to identify ideal targets which have the potential to break through.
We foster the best conditions to achieve successful deals thanks to our in-depth understanding of the business and regulatory environment. Our method consists in immersing ourselves into the company’s profile to precisely assess and tackle the risks and opportunities attached to each investment.
Atlantys Investors has been founded by Jean-Luc Allavena, an experienced partner in private equity who has been involved as a manager and investor in the industry for thirty years. He deeply believes that “Finance should service industry” and has accumulated a strong track-record with Apollo through major deals over the past years (Alcan Engineered Products, Saint Gobain’s Glass Bottle Unit – Verallia, Logicade, Monier, Latécoère).
